Yesterday, Ed Payne (left), one of the SR-71, Blackbird, crew was laid to rest.  It was a beautiful day and colleagues that could, came.  This was sent to me today along with his obit.
Psalm 23 For Pilots The Lord is my Pilot, I will not be afraid, He lets me fly over green pastures and guides me across many waters, as He refreshes my soul. He elevates me to the sun above the clouds where His name is exhaled. Even though I fly through times  of turbulence and stormy weather, I will have no fear; For You are with me, your stick and compass they bring me in. You prepare a landing for me in the presence of adverse conditions. You bless my flight with ample fuel and my plane flies perfectly. After all the flying hours of my life, I will fly west and land in the Lord’s heaven forever.
When you are flying at 80,000 ft, Mach 3+, I suppose it is prudent to have a prayer!

Psalm 23 For Pilots

The Lord is my Pilot,
I will not be afraid,
He lets me fly over green pastures
and guides me across many waters,
as He refreshes my soul.

He elevates me to the sun above the clouds
where His name is exhaled.

Even though I fly through times
of turbulence and stormy weather,
I will have no fear;
For You are with me,
your stick and compass
they bring me in.

You prepare a landing for me
in the presence of adverse conditions.

You bless my flight with ample fuel
and my plane flies perfectly.
After all the flying hours of my life,
I will fly west and land
in the Lord’s heaven forever.

When you are flying at 80,000 ft, Mach 3+, I suppose it is prudent to have a prayer!
